Anthropic won't orchestrate Codex. OpenAI won't route tasks to Claude. Each engine maker is incentivized to keep you on their platform. Cross-provider orchestration is structurally impossible for them.
Engines commoditize. Today Claude is best at X, tomorrow Codex is best at Y. The value is in the orchestration layer that picks the best engine for each task — not in any single engine.
